Being a mom is admirable and being an eco mom is even more admirable. It‘s time to honor all the moms who support and promote a sustainable lifestyle. We identify the following 4: 

1. Zero Waste Mom: 

These moms buy just the essentials for their home, not a gram more or less. They are very concerned about not wasting, so everything they buy they already know how they will use it. They never leave home without their grocery list to buy what is necessary.  

Their favorite phrase:  

"Finish your food, there are children who have nothing to eat." 

2. Bulk Mom 

These moms do most of their grocery shopping in bulk, they seek to reduce the amount of plastic waste in their lives and that of their families. They bring their own containers and reusable bags to fill with beans, cereals and even snacks. By doing this, they prevent single-use plastics from ending up in landfills and oceans.  

Their favorite phrase:  

"Don‘t forget your reusable bag, they don‘t give bags anywhere anymore" 

3. Local Moms 
    

These moms support local products, contribute to the local economy, and reduce the carbon footprint of their consumption. They prefer to buy fresh products like cheese and seasonal fruit from local farmers rather than large chains. They enjoy bringing new products home to surprise their family.  

Their favorite phrase:  

"Child never buy mango if it‘s not in season, it‘s very expensive" 

4. Recycling Mom 
    

These moms recycle EVERYTHING and know that if they don‘t take responsibility, no one else will. They are excited to teach their children about the importance of separating and recycling. They recycle paper, cardboard, cans, glass, PET, and glass. They know that by teaching their children about sustainability, they are shaping the next generation of environmental advocates. 

Their favorite phrase:  

"Don‘t throw that away child, we can reuse it!"
